I think both the students and myself were thankful to be in the construction industry this week. With the leaves all around us and the temperatures as good as they get we enjoyed a week of progress on the Research Demonstration house. Most of the students are becoming quite adept at block work. You can see in the first picture that progress is being made, all of the 16 piers are out of the ground and the students are working on the larger portions of block that will anchor our house to the slope.
